The Academic Council is a body which assists the Principal in decision making with regard to academic, courses of instruction, and rules of discipline of students. This body is constituted by the Principal. The council will be asked to consider and report on any question concerning the academic, courses of instruction and rules of discipline by the Principal. The council meets at least once in a month. The tenure of the members is three years.

Formulate the institutional vision, mission, and strategic plan; prepare the academic calendar and information brochure in alignment with university schedules.

Advise on courses of instruction, academic policies, and programme-related matters to ensure relevance and quality across all departments.

Review and adapt important policy decisions, conduct periodic analysis of university examination results, and uphold academic standards.

Address student discipline, grievances, and welfare; support the smooth conduct of academic and co-curricular activities on campus.

Promote a culture of inquiry and excellence; liaise with PTA, Alumni Association, and external bodies to strengthen academic engagement.
